Hana Sampler

 The Hana Sampler is a study in traditional Japanese patterns.  With nature is a dominant theme in Japanese Art, the patterns in this study are Hana, flower, Diaya 3, tortoise shell patterns, a diamond pattern and the flax leaf.  The background pattern behind hana is depicting water.

The stitches are traditional to Rozashi.  The colors are reminiscent to the those found in the ancient Imari plates so favored in Japan.

The kit comes complete with ro attached to the frame, all threads, and the sticking paste for finishing, a Rozashi needle, and the student booklet with a color image cover.
